These Child Safety Standards apply to the mobile application "TOMO - 友達作り・オフ会・交流会・イベント・趣味・地元" (Google Play package name: com.cdcraft.tomo.app, hereinafter "TOMO" or the "Service") and its website (tomoing.com), developed and operated by CodeCraft, Inc. (株式会社CodeCraft, hereinafter the "Company").
These standards are published in accordance with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy. The Company maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation ("CSAE").
The following conduct involving a child (any person under 18 years of age) is explicitly prohibited on TOMO, regardless of format (text, image, video, audio, link, sticker, etc.) or location (profile, group, event, post, comment, chat, voice, paper plane, etc.):
• Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, possessing, or linking to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
• Any content that sexualizes or sexually depicts a child, including cartoons, illustrations, and AI-generated content
• Grooming (approaching a child to build trust for a sexual purpose)
• Sexual coercion or extortion of a child (sextortion)
• Child trafficking, child prostitution, or arranging travel or tourism involving children for a sexual purpose
• Attempting or soliciting an offline meeting with a child for a sexual purpose
• Content that endorses, glorifies, or provides instructions for any of the above
In addition, TOMO is a service for hobby and interest-based communities, and dating-purpose use is prohibited altogether. See the Safety Guide for details.
Minors need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service. Groups run by minors are continuously monitored. TOMO does not provide any feature to search, filter, or match users by gender, and does not provide one-to-one private messaging.
Every post, comment, chat message, group, event, and user profile on TOMO has an in-app Report function. If you find content or behavior that endangers the safety of a child, open the menu (…) of the item and select "Report". The reporter's identity is never disclosed to the reported party. You may also report directly to the contact below.
When CSAE-related content or conduct is identified through reports or ongoing monitoring, the operations team responds as follows:
• The content is removed immediately and the related account is permanently suspended without notice.
• Confirmed Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is reported to law enforcement, including the Japanese police (cybercrime consultation desk), and, where applicable, to the Internet Hotline Center (IHC) and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
• Relevant records are preserved and provided in response to lawful requests from law enforcement.
• Measures are taken to prevent re-registration by the violating account.
The Company complies with applicable child safety laws, including Japan's Act on Regulation and Punishment of Acts Relating to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography, the Act on Regulation on Soliciting Children by Using Opposite Sex Introducing Service on Internet, and the Act on Development of an Environment that Provides Safe and Secure Internet Use for Young People, as well as the child safety laws of each region in which the Service is provided.
